Cookies Policy
Information about cookies and similar technologies used on AllDevUtils.
Last updated: February 23, 2026
Cookies are small files stored on your device by your web browser when you access websites or apps that link to this Cookies Policy (collectively, the "Site"). Different types of cookies and similar technologies can be used to improve site functionality, remember preferences, and help site owners understand usage patterns.
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by websites. They can be used to remember preferences, improve functionality, and measure usage.
2. Types of Cookies and Similar Technologies
Different websites may use different categories of cookies and storage technologies. Examples include:
- Preference cookies/storage: used to remember settings and past actions (for example, UI preferences such as editor theme choices).
- Analytics/performance cookies: used to understand traffic, usage, and performance so the site can be improved.
- Security-related cookies: may be used by hosting, CDN, or infrastructure providers to help protect services.
3. First-Party and Third-Party Cookies
First-party cookies are set by AllDevUtils. Third-party cookies are set by third-party services integrated into or used by the Site (for example, hosting, CDN, analytics, or performance tools), subject to their own policies.
Based on the current AllDevUtils site code, we do not intentionally set first-party cookies for core tool functionality. We do use browser localStorage to remember certain preferences (such as editor theme and auto-run settings). Third-party providers may still set cookies depending on the hosting or analytics services enabled.
4. Control of Cookies
Most browsers accept cookies by default. You can remove or reject cookies in your browser settings. Doing so may affect the availability or functionality of some features on the Site or on third-party services used by the Site.
You can learn more about controlling cookies using your browser settings or vendor documentation, including:
- Google Chrome
- Apple Safari
- Microsoft Edge
- Mozilla Firefox
- Opera
- Android and iOS mobile browsers
5. How Long Cookies Are Stored
Session cookies are temporary and are typically deleted when your browser is closed. Persistent cookies remain on your device until they expire or are deleted.
Depending on the service and purpose, websites may use either or both. Third-party providers determine their own retention periods according to their policies.
6. Cookies and Personal Information
Where cookies or similar technologies are used to collect Personal Information or Anonymized Data, that data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
7. Updates to This Policy
This Cookies Policy may be updated periodically. The date above reflects the latest revision.
